Initiates, oversees and is accountable for IT project management at the facility level. Possesses industry knowledge and stays abreast of key issues, trends and directions in healthcare IT. Develops and maintains the approved annual operations and capital budgets for the facility IT systems. Coordinates with various CHW teams to ensure that all information systems and networks operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards, regulatory agencies, and legal requirements, including HIPAA. Ensures that all initiatives in the facility IT portfolio have clear business goals and success metrics where appropriate. Coordinates with IT infrastructure support teams to maintain a stable environment, including network, desktops, telecommunications and servers. Coordinates the resolution of complex problems related to facility clinical and business applications and workflows. Actively participates in the implementation and planning of facility IT projects.
