MAIN DUTIES: Select products for testing, assure compliance of products against a variety of Quality and Food Safety standards and customer specifications. Coach, train and advise other team members, both individually and in a group setting, on problem solving processes relating to food production. Must comply with standard food industry Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and all other Food Safety requirements as they relate to all products and processes. Perform or assist with periodic audits of plant, Product Quality, GMP's, QA practices, etc., as assigned. Record Quality data into computer, using computer to generate charts, graphs, and document pertinent process and Product Quality. Maintain neat, accurate and organized Quality files. Assist QA Manager in conducting Environmental (microbiological) Monitoring Program, water quality testing, etc. as assigned. Assist with assessing quality of incoming raw materials.
